Sergio Garcia | KSBG TV

  • Sergio Garcia serves as KSBG-TV 17's Television Media Coordinator. He began his service with San Benito CISD's educational television station in 1998, where he worked on all audio/video related aspects for over a 10-year period. Garcia spent seven years as an educator, where he acquired Avid Certified Instructor (ACI) status from Avid, the industry leader in professional editing. This certification afforded San Benito CISD the opportunity to become a learning partner with Avid to authorize and certify high school students to obtain their certification before graduation.

    In his current role, Garcia assists Interim Director of Communications Luis Gonzales in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the television station. Working alongside Gonzales and members of the KSBG team, Garcia produces shows that highlight and promote the students and staff of San Benito CISD.

David Cortez | KSBG TV

  • David Cortez is a San Benito High School Class of 1990 graduate. He has been employed with San Benito CISD since August of 2008. Cortez has been in the television broadcast industry since 1991, working locally in the Houston area with the CBS, ABC and the PBS affiliate. Cortez, KSBG-TV 17's Lead Technician, has experience in graphics, video shooting and editing and all aspects related to audio.

Isabel Gonzalez | Public Relations

  • Isabel Gonzalez is the Television Media Coordinator for the San Benito CISD. She has been employed with the school district since May 2002. Gonzalez was previously employed with the Division of Overseas Ministries of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Indianapolis, Indiana, where she was responsible for marketing international mission trips and cross-culturalexperiences. A 1989 San Benito High School graduate, Gonzalez earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing Management from the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana.

Dulce Quiroz | Public Relations

  • Dulce Quiroz began her employment with San Benito CISD as the district's webmaster on a part-time basis with the district's Technology Department in 1998. She received her Associate of Applied Science degree in Digital Imaging Technology (Computer Graphics and Web Design) from Texas State Technical College.

    In 2003 she became a full-time employee with the Technology Department. Since June 2013, Quiroz has been a welcome addition to the Community Relations/KSBG-TV Department, where she has continued her duties as the district's webmaster and taken on additional duties related to television production.
